The fantastical characters revealed in the reverse intaglio crystals of my Close Encounters collections step into the real world.

The mermaid has set off on her own adventure, and I have created a space for her to call home - a sanctuary inspired by the vibrant colours and rich decoration of traditional Mexican Nichos. Created in titanium and painted with enamel, she is the centrepiece of the necklace, her sanctuary is adorned with an elaborate frame of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, pink sapphires, and enamel flowers.
