The fantastical characters revealed in the reverse intaglio crystals of my Close Encounters collections step into the real world.

The whale is reunited with his beloved cactus, and I have created a space for them to call home - a sanctuary inspired by the vibrant colours and rich decoration of traditional Mexican Nichos. Created in titanium and hand-painted with enamel, the whale is the centrepiece of this necklace, which is adorned with a frame of diamonds, tsavorites and sapphires. A golden sun adorns the cactus.
