The Blue Puffer Fish Ring features a masterfully hand-carved and painted fish and bird reverse crystal. The crystal is backed with turquoise, and is bezel set in yellow gold, and place in a titanium band. The titanium is set with tsavorites and emeralds, hand painted enamel depicts the reeds from the seabed. The band of the ring is created in gold and is decorated with a hand painted enamel starfish, engraved in the gold are the footprints of the bird.

I created this crystal in collaboration with a pair of master carvers I discovered in Germany. A cabochon rock crystal is hand-carved on the reverse side and hand-painted with single-hair brushes.
